Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Styledrobe iOS application (“the app”, “Styledrobe”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Styledrobe is a personal wardrobe management app that uses on-device machine learning to suggest outfit combinations from clothing items you add. Optional features include weather-based suggestions, a calendar for tracking what you wore, a wishlist, capsule wardrobe builder, and an opt-in Community feed for sharing outfit ideas.
The app runs primarily on your iPhone. Optional iCloud sync uses your private iCloud account. The Community feed uses Apple’s CloudKit public database (see Privacy Policy).
2. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
- Distribute, sublicense, or sell copies of the app
- Use automated systems to interact with the app or the Community feed
3. Subscriptions
Free tier limits
The app is free to download and use with the following limits (subject to change):
- Up to 35 wardrobe items
- 3 daily AI outfit suggestions
- 5 saved outfits
- 3 wishlist items
- 1 saved capsule
- 3 daily “Try Outfit” simulations
- Limited Style Insights and Statistics
Premium subscriptions
Premium subscriptions unlock:
- Unlimited wardrobe items
- Unlimited daily outfit suggestions
- Unlimited saved outfits
- Unlimited wishlist (with AI URL extraction)
- Unlimited saved capsules
- Unlimited “Try Outfit” simulations
- Full Style Insights & Capsule Wardrobe Analysis
- Advanced features including Color Analysis, Trend Radar, and full calendar history
Pricing & renewal
- Subscriptions are sold at the price displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase. Prices vary by territory based on Apple’s pricing tiers.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID will be charged at renewal.
- Free trials (where offered) — typically 3 days for monthly, 7 days for yearly. One trial per Apple ID per subscription group. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods, except as required by law.
- Subscriptions are shareable with Family Sharing members.
4. User content (your wardrobe)
You are solely responsible for the photos and clothing items you add to the app. By using Styledrobe:
- You confirm you have the right to use the photos you upload
- You retain all ownership rights to your content
- You acknowledge that wardrobe content stays on your device (and your private iCloud, if enabled) and is never transmitted to us for collection or analysis
We do not access, view, or store your private wardrobe content. We cannot recover lost data.
Styledrobe includes an opt-in Community feed where users may share composite outfit images. Use of this feature is governed by additional rules below.
What you share is what you choose to share
- A post is created only when you tap “Share to Community” and confirm in the share sheet.
- Only a composite outfit image plus minimal metadata (item types, colors, occasion, weather, score) is uploaded. Your name, account, raw item photos, and other wardrobe data are not uploaded.

By sharing, you agree not to upload content that:
- Is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of the people who may view it
- Contains nudity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive imagery
- Contains violence, gore, or harmful content
- Constitutes harassment, hate speech, or bullying
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Contains personal information of yourself or others (faces of identifiable people other than yourself, addresses, IDs, financial info)
- Infringes any intellectual property rights (copyrighted images, brand logos used deceptively)
- Is spam, advertising, or commercial promotion
- Impersonates any person or organization
- Contains misleading or deceptive information
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
Reporting and moderation
- Any user can report a post via the “…” menu using one of the standard categories (Inappropriate, Spam, Nudity, Harassment, Copyright, Other).
- Reporting a post immediately hides it for the reporting user.
- Posts that accumulate a configurable number of reports are automatically hidden from all users’ feeds.
- We reserve the right to remove any post or block any user who repeatedly violates these rules, without prior notice.
Your moderation rights
- You may delete any of your own community posts at any time via the “…” menu on the post.
- You may mute / hide individual posts by reporting them.
- You may block any other community user via the “…” menu on any of their posts. Once blocked, no future posts from that user will appear in your feed. Blocking is local to your device and the blocked user is not notified.
- Deleted posts are removed from public CloudKit storage and stop being served to other users.
Each user is solely responsible for the content they share. The developer is not responsible for user-submitted content but will act in good faith on valid reports.
6. Acceptable use (overall app)
In addition to Section 5, you agree not to use the app to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to interfere with the app’s security features
- Abuse the reporting system (false reports against legitimate posts)
7. AI-generated suggestions
The app uses on-device machine learning to suggest outfit combinations, classify clothing, and (optionally) analyze your color palette from a selfie. These suggestions are algorithmic recommendations, not professional styling advice. We make no warranties about the appropriateness, taste, or social acceptability of any suggestion. Use your own judgment.
8. Intellectual property
The app, including all software, models, design, and trademarks, is owned by Berna Ozer or licensors. The “Styledrobe” name and logo are trademarks. The Apple, iPhone, iCloud, WeatherKit, CloudKit, and StoreKit names are trademarks of Apple Inc. Unsplash, Open-Meteo and other third-party services retain their respective marks.
9. Third-party services
The app integrates with:
- Apple WeatherKit (weather-based suggestions) — subject to Apple’s terms
- Apple StoreKit (subscriptions) — subject to Apple’s App Store Terms
- Apple iCloud / CloudKit (private sync + public Community feed) — subject to iCloud Terms
- Open-Meteo (fallback weather data when WeatherKit is unavailable) — subject to Open-Meteo terms
- Unsplash (style inspiration images in Style Feed) — subject to Unsplash terms
We are not responsible for these third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI suggestions or color analysis will match your taste
- Community content will be free of objectionable material at all times (we rely on community reporting + automatic moderation)
- Data will not be lost (you are responsible for iCloud backup)
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the app or suspend your access for breach of these Terms or repeated violations of the Community rules in Section 5.
Upon termination, the license granted in Section 2 ends. You must delete all copies of the app.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date and announced in app release notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey, unless otherwise required by your local consumer protection laws.
